Investing.com – Malaysia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Plantation, Industrial Products and Construction sectors propelled shares higher.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.23% or 0.10 to $45.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.54% or 0.26 to hit $48.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.54% or 6.30 to trade at $1172.40 a troy ounce.
SGD/MYR was down 0.23% to 3.0436, while USD/MYR fell 0.61% to 4.2275.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 96.30.
