Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 2.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 4.01% or 13.9 points to trade at 360.9 at the close. William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) added 3.91% or 22.5 points to end at 598.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 2.70% or 9.6 points to 365.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 0.92% or 2.4 points to trade at 259.4 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS) declined 0.75% or 2.8 points to end at 371.9 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 0.47% or 50 points to 10650.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 86 to 69 and 6 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.75% or 0.35 to $46.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.43% or 0.21 to hit $49.95 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.47% or 5.60 to trade at $1181.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.07% to 6.5568, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4600.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 94.62.
