Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 added 0.54%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Bezeq (TA:BEZQ), which rose 4.09% or 31.0 points to trade at 789.0 at the close. International (TA:FTIN) added 1.99% or 98 points to end at 5027 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) was up 1.55% or 220 points to 14370 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Frutarom (TA:FRUT), which lost 1.92% or 300 points to trade at 15290 in late trade. Osem (TA:OSEM) declined 1.71% or 126 points to end at 7260 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) shed 1.70% or 1900 points to 109900.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 173 to 141 and 134 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.80% or 1.26 to $46.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.95% or 0.93 to hit $48.40 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.64% or 7.30 to trade at $1130.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.87% to 3.9363, while EUR/ILS fell 0.11% to 4.4051.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.74% at 96.07.
