Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb), which rose 1.69% or 7.9 points to trade at 475.3 at the close. Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) added 0.85% or 1.1 points to end at 131.1 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) was up 0.31% or 0.25 points to 79.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which lost 7.68% or 3.12 points to trade at 37.48 in late trade. GN Store Nord (COP:GN) declined 1.71% or 2.0 points to end at 115.1 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) shed 1.39% or 150 points to 10630.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 95 to 47 and 9 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.48% or 1.14 to $44.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.67% or 0.81 to hit $48.08 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.60% or 6.70 to trade at $1102.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.46% to 6.5846, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4604.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.31% at 95.26.
