Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Insurance and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.61%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were SABB Takaful (SE:8080), which rose 9.82% or 3.54 points to trade at 39.60 at the close. Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) added 9.76% or 6.18 points to end at 69.50 and ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) was up 7.55% or 4.28 points to 61.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Halwani Bros (SE:6001), which lost 9.82% or 6.51 points to trade at 59.75 in late trade. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) declined 4.07% or 3.16 points to end at 74.50 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214) shed 2.81% or 0.85 points to 29.40.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 106 to 60 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.28% or 1.06 to $45.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.76% or 1.40 to hit $49.28 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.32% or 3.60 to trade at $1120.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.16% to 4.1802, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7499.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 96.26.
