Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (COP:ISS), which rose 0.89% or 2.00 points to trade at 227.50 at the close. William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) fell 0.45% or 2.5 points to end at 550.0 and Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb) was down 1.20% or 5.5 points to 454.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS), which lost 3.46% or 12.6 points to trade at 351.4 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) declined 3.44% or 2.75 points to end at 77.10 and FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) shed 2.61% or 6.5 points to 242.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 118 to 31 and 3 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.20% or 0.56 to $46.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.55% or 0.79 to hit $49.90 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.43% or 4.80 to trade at $1119.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.6973, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4611.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.03% at 96.28.
