Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD48.24 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.57%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD48.16 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD46.68 and resistance at USD49.52.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.11% to trade at USD97.51.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery fell 0.33% to trade at USD53.12 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.88 a barrel.
