Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Energy, Auto & components and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Schibsted ASA A (OSLO:SBSTA), which rose 7.37% or 19.4 points to trade at 282.7 at the close. Akastor ASA (OSLO:AKAS) added 2.57% or 0.3 points to end at 13.9 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OSLO:GOGLT) was up 1.19% or 0.40 points to 33.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Seadrill Limited (OSLO:SDRL), which lost 6.21% or 4.9 points to trade at 74.0 in late trade. Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OSLO:FOE) declined 5.77% or 2.8 points to end at 45.6 and Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OSLO:REC) shed 4.94% or 0.10 points to 1.83.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 91 to 90 and 5 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.14% or 0.58 to $50.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.34% or 0.20 to hit $56.73 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.18% or 13.50 to trade at $1130.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.03% to 8.8788, while USD/NOK rose 0.28% to 8.1856.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.23% at 97.98.
