Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Petrochemicals, Multi Investment and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150), which rose 7.33% or 2.39 points to trade at 35.00 at the close. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) added 5.65% or 3.42 points to end at 64.00 and AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) was up 5.45% or 1.10 points to 21.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290), which lost 9.93% or 1.88 points to trade at 17.05 in late trade. United Electronics Company (SE:4003) declined 9.50% or 9.97 points to end at 95.00 and National Industrialization Co (SE:2060) shed 5.59% or 1.41 points to 23.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 106 to 56 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.38% or 0.22 to $57.10 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.69% or 0.43 to hit $63.02 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.58% or 7.00 to trade at $1196.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.60% to 4.0284, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.46% at 98.06.
