On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for January delivery traded at USD66.39 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.64%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD66.09 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD63.72 and resistance at USD69.54.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.30% to trade at USD88.93.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for January delivery fell 0.65% to trade at USD69.19 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD2.8 a barrel.
