Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Agriculture & Food and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which rose 9.40% or 1.25 points to trade at 14.55 at the close. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) added 4.56% or 0.60 points to end at 13.75 and Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) was up 4.19% or 0.45 points to 11.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040), which lost 3.51% or 1.00 points to trade at 27.50 in late trade. Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330) declined 2.24% or 0.25 points to end at 10.90 and Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) shed 2.15% or 0.70 points to 31.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 83 to 60 and 35 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.60% or 0.29 to $48.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.83% or 0.43 to hit $52.08 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.43% or 17.64 to trade at $1254.04 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.31% to 4.1683, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 97.73.
