Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Investment, Public Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 2.88% or 75.0 points to trade at 2675.0 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 2.29% or 600.0 points to end at 26800.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) was up 0.89% or 10.0 points to 1130.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 1.55% or 130.0 points to trade at 8270.0 in late trade. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 1.05% or 160.0 points to end at 15060.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) shed 1.05% or 120.0 points to 11300.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 13 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.72% or 1.02 to $140.50 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 1.00% or 19.00 to hit $1890.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.55% or 6.65 to trade at $1202.75 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.27% to 2999.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.70% to 939.16.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 101.88.
