UK delivers more than 600,000 vaccines in 24 hours

LONDON (Reuters) - More than 600,000 first and second doses of coronavirus vaccine were administered in Britain in the space of 24 hours, according to data released on Saturday.

Official figures showed that 119,306 first doses were given on Friday, and 485,421 second doses. The data also showed a further 35 people had died from the virus within 28 days of a positive test, and 2,206 people had tested positive.

In the last seven days, daily deaths were down 29% from the previous week, while cases were down 6.5%.

Great. I am holding off as long as possible, until I need to travel etc. The more guinea pigs take these expiremental gene-based vaccines the more information I can base my decision on whether to take or not.
New technologies doesnt mean its not safe and everything comes with some risk even well known drug like paracetamol can give you liver failure. If you think you won’t die and you don’t mind catching it and then burdening the NHS with no shame then its fine but at least keep this yourself and not amplifying the ideas here that it “might” give ppl severe long term side effects! You are raising doubts that we all know and its pointless to amplify any sides of the argument with no actual data support and only time will tell! Thats like me telling the others you dont need to worry at all at this stage as there is no long term serious effect being reported... so far. Ppl should be mindful when writing things in public forum!
yeh right, most people have researched the novel mnra vaccines and understand its an untested technology and come to a reasoned conclusion that its worth the the risk on balance, sure. Most are clueless. I am simply raising legitimate concerns, and i will carry on doing so on any public forum i want to.
Right but its fine for the government the be ‘amplifying’ that the vaccines are perfectly safe. Exactly, we dont have data on its effects, we are injecting someting into people with no data.
