Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.68%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 1.35% or 3.2 points to trade at 241.0 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.10% or 0.37 points to end at 34.13 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 0.90% or 11.0 points to 1230.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 1.80% or 7.7 points to trade at 419.1 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 1.07% or 4.0 points to end at 371.5 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) shed 0.99% or 5.0 points to 498.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 91 to 53 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.51% or 0.25 to $49.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.86% or 0.43 to hit $50.15 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1214.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.6678, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4388.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 95.49.
