U.S. trade balance -40.38B vs. -40.30B forecast

Investing.com - The U.S. trade balance rose less-than-expected last month, official data showed on Tuesday.

In a report, Bureau of Economic Analysis said that U.S. trade balance rose to a seasonally adjusted -40.38B, from -41.87B in the prior month whose figure was revised up from -42.30B.

Analysts had expected U.S. trade balance to rise to -40.30B last month.
