Investing.com - U.S. core retail sales fell unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Wednesday.

In a report, Census Bureau said that U.S. core retail sales fell to a seasonally adjusted -1.0%, from 0.1% in the prior month whose figure was revised down from 0.5%.

Analysts had expected U.S. core retail sales to rise 0.1% last month.
