Investing.com - U.S. core retail sales fell unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Tuesday.

In a report, Census Bureau said that U.S. core retail sales fell to a seasonally adjusted -0.1%, from 0.8% in the prior month whose figure was revised down from 1.0%.

Analysts had expected U.S. core retail sales to rise 0.5% last month.
