Investing.com - The U.K. claimant count change rose unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Wednesday.

In a report, Office for National Statistics said that U.K. claimant count change rose to a seasonally adjusted 7.0K, from -1.1K in the prior month whose figure was revised up from -6.5K.

Analysts had expected U.K. claimant count change to fall -8.8K last month.
