On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for December delivery traded at USD77.66 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.33%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD77.62 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD75.84 and resistance at USD80.98.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.01% to trade at USD88.20.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for December delivery fell 0.53% to trade at USD82.44 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.78 a barrel.
