South African retail sales 3.4% vs. 1.8% forecast
Investing.com - Retail sales in South Africa rose unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Wednesday.

In a report, Statistics South Africa Head Office said that South African Retail Sales rose to 3.4%, from 2.5% in the prior month whose figure was revised up from 2.0%.

Analysts had expected South African Retail Sales to fall to 1.8% last month.
