Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 1.92%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 0.20% or 0.07 points to trade at 34.31 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) fell 0.07% or 0.0020 points to end at 2.8280 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) was down 0.71% or 0.18 points to 25.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 5.14% or 0.212 points to trade at 3.914 in late trade. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) declined 2.86% or 1.16 points to end at 39.41 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) shed 2.84% or 0.96 points to 32.83.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 139 to 45 and 2 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for January delivery was up 3.13% or 1.41 to $46.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 3.04% or 1.27 to hit $43.02 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.81% or 8.60 to trade at $1075.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.16% to 1.0654, while EUR/GBP rose 0.70% to 0.7071.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.22% at 99.62.
