Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Auto & components, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 3.73% or 1.10 points to trade at 30.60 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 2.71% or 0.49 points to end at 18.55 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was up 1.82% or 2.6 points to 145.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which lost 3.23% or 0.05 points to trade at 1.50 in late trade. Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) declined 1.89% or 0.56 points to end at 29.05 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) shed 1.57% or 0.4 points to 23.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 96 to 95 and 10 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.95% or 0.85 to $44.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.54% or 0.71 to hit $46.75 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.31% or 4.25 to trade at $1354.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.43% to 9.1518, while USD/NOK fell 0.69% to 8.1952.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 95.63.
