Investing.com - Housing starts in Japan rose unexpectedly in the last quarter, official data showed on Friday.
In a report, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said that Japanese Housing Starts rose to a seasonally adjusted 16.3%, from 5.8% in the prior quarter.
Analysts had expected Japanese Housing Starts to fall to 2.9% in the last quarter.
