Canadian building permits 0.7% vs. 2.1% forecast
Investing.com - The number of building permits issued in Canada fell more-than-expected last month, official data showed on Monday.

In a report, Statistics Canada said that Canadian building permits fell to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 0.7%, from 12.5% in the prior month whose figure was revised down from 12.7%.

Analysts had expected Canadian building permits to fall to 2.1% last month.
