Investing.com - The number of building permits issued in Canada fell unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Friday.
In a report, Statistics Canada said that Canadian building permits fell to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of -13.8%, from 2.1% in the prior month whose figure was revised up from 0.7%.
Analysts had expected Canadian building permits to rise to 1.0% last month.
