Investing.com - Australia’s unemployment rate rose unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, Australian Bureau of Statistics said that Australian unemployment rate rose to a seasonally adjusted 6.3%, from 6.1% in the prior month whose figure was revised up from 6.0%.
Analysts had expected Australian unemployment rate to remain unchanged at 6.0% last month.
