Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.86%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (COP:GEN), which rose 2.16% or 13.5 points to trade at 639.0 at the close. Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb) added 1.63% or 7.5 points to end at 467.5 and Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) was up 1.44% or 5.5 points to 387.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (COP:GN), which lost 2.04% or 2.6 points to trade at 124.8 in late trade. William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) declined 0.75% or 4.0 points to end at 527.0 and TDC A/S (COP:TDC) shed 0.71% or 0.32 points to 44.62.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 81 to 71 and 7 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.88% or 0.37 to $42.60 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.74% or 0.36 to hit $49.27 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.21% or 2.30 to trade at $1113.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.22% to 6.7085, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4642.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 96.51.
