The Ajman Police in Dubai has become the first law enforcement organization in the world to provide metaverse services.

According to a report by the Khaleej Times, the Ajman Police General Command attended the Dubai Metaverse Forum and confirmed the launch of an innovative app at Gitex Technology Week called "Request for Sponsorship," which enables people to get in touch with the police digitally.

The program supports seven distinct languages, including Arabic, English, Chinese, Russian, French, German, and Spanish.

Major General Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, director of artificial intelligence at the Dubai Police, said that the improved smart application also has a personal dashboard that tracks user data, including past traffic infractions and crimes.

UAE vice president and prime minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is a major proponent of the metaverse and aims to make the UAE a global hub for the emerging technology and an all-digital economy.

The strategy also calls for the growth of blockchain-based enterprises across the country and the creation of a sizable number of new job opportunities.
