US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.15% to trade at USD84.89.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for November delivery rose 0.59% to trade at USD83.19 a barrel while Heating oil for November delivery rose 0.33% to trade at USD2.4784 per gallon.
