Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Industrial Investment and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which rose 9.93% or 0.75 points to trade at 8.30 at the close. Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) added 9.90% or 0.95 points to end at 10.55 and ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130) was up 6.42% or 3.15 points to 52.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Halwani Bros (SE:6001), which lost 2.37% or 2.00 points to trade at 82.25 in late trade. Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:2380) declined 1.23% or 0.20 points to end at 16.05 and Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280) shed 0.85% or 0.15 points to 17.55.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 144 to 22 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.44% or 1.11 to $46.65 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.59% or 1.25 to hit $49.38 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1136.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.00% to 4.2053, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.02% at 96.02.
