Investing.com – Malaysia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Mining, Technology and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.17% or 0.56 to $47.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.48% or 0.74 to hit $49.72 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.85% or 10.00 to trade at $1173.10 a troy ounce.
SGD/MYR was up 0.93% to 3.0492, while USD/MYR rose 0.88% to 4.2180.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.02% at 94.78.
