On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for August delivery traded at USD2.740 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 0.81%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD2.735 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.735 and resistance at USD2.906.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 1.21% to trade at USD95.67.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for August delivery rose 1.13% to trade at USD61.06 a barrel while Heating oil for July delivery rose 2.48% to trade at USD1.9158 per gallon.
