On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for August delivery traded at USD2.748 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 3.24%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD2.739 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.739 and resistance at USD2.977.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.15% to trade at USD94.45.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for August delivery rose 0.32% to trade at USD59.78 a barrel while Heating oil for July delivery fell 0.43% to trade at USD1.8589 per gallon.
