On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for June delivery traded at USD2.735 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 1.49%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD2.712 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.712 and resistance at USD2.824.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.62% to trade at USD94.77.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for June delivery fell 3.54% to trade at USD58.77 a barrel while Heating oil for June delivery fell 2.83% to trade at USD1.9590 per gallon.
