On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for May delivery traded at USD2.622 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 0.70%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD2.583 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.583 and resistance at USD2.697.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.28% to trade at USD98.41.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for May delivery rose 5.17% to trade at USD50.06 a barrel while Heating oil for May delivery rose 2.79% to trade at USD1.7556 per gallon.
