Investing.com - Natural gas futures were lower in U.S. trade on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for March delivery traded at USD2.660 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 3.40%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD2.650 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.608 and resistance at USD2.924.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.48% to trade at USD94.21.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for March delivery fell 6.54% to trade at USD49.58 a barrel while Heating oil for March delivery fell 3.05% to trade at USD1.7901 per gallon.
