On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for March delivery traded at USD2.828 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 4.39%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD2.821 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.762 and resistance at USD3.010.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.30% to trade at USD95.03.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for March delivery rose 0.42% to trade at USD45.78 a barrel while Heating oil for March delivery rose 0.93% to trade at USD1.6362 per gallon.
