Investing.com - Natural gas futures were lower in U.S. trade on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for February delivery traded at USD3.132 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 3.12%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD3.058 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.783 and resistance at USD3.350.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.40% to trade at USD92.67.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for February delivery fell 2.45% to trade at USD47.29 a barrel while Heating oil for February delivery fell 0.76% to trade at USD1.6426 per gallon.
