Investing.com - Natural gas futures were lower in U.S. trade on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for February delivery traded at USD3.092 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 3.33%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD3.080 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.007 and resistance at USD3.211.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.31% to trade at USD90.26.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for February delivery fell 0.21% to trade at USD53.50 a barrel while Heating oil for February delivery rose 0.68% to trade at USD1.8340 per gallon.
