Investing.com - Natural gas futures were lower in U.S. trade on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for January delivery traded at USD3.656 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 1.23%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD3.639 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.605 and resistance at USD3.936.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.26% to trade at USD89.50.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for February delivery fell 3.79% to trade at USD54.64 a barrel while Heating oil for January delivery fell 2.97% to trade at USD1.9489 per gallon.
