On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for January delivery traded at USD3.785 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 2.28%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD3.757 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.757 and resistance at USD4.367.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.34% to trade at USD89.00.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for January delivery rose 0.69% to trade at USD67.34 a barrel while Heating oil for January delivery fell 0.70% to trade at USD2.1394 per gallon.
