On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for October delivery traded at USD3.921 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 3.54%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD3.897 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.897 and resistance at USD4.101.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.26% to trade at USD82.99.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for October delivery fell 2.72% to trade at USD93.35 a barrel while Heating oil for October delivery fell 1.91% to trade at USD2.8055 per gallon.
