On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for April delivery traded at USD2.695 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 1.44%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD2.691 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.662 and resistance at USD2.864.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.18% to trade at USD99.30.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for April delivery rose 0.20% to trade at USD47.15 a barrel while Heating oil for April delivery fell 0.16% to trade at USD1.7763 per gallon.
