On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for July delivery traded at USD2.883 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 4.84%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD2.893 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.744 and resistance at USD2.922.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.07% to trade at USD95.17.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for August delivery fell 0.56% to trade at USD60.06 a barrel while Heating oil for July delivery fell 0.51% to trade at USD1.8796 per gallon.
