On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for June delivery traded at USD2.956 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 1.41%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD3.019 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.902 and resistance at USD3.105.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.27% to trade at USD95.40.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for July delivery rose 2.96% to trade at USD60.73 a barrel while Heating oil for June delivery rose 2.08% to trade at USD1.9866 per gallon.
