On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for June delivery traded at USD3.009 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 2.50%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD3.017 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.785 and resistance at USD3.017.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.27% to trade at USD93.48.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for June delivery fell 1.08% to trade at USD59.84 a barrel while Heating oil for June delivery rose 0.06% to trade at USD2.0039 per gallon.
