On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for May delivery traded at USD2.680 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 2.70%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD2.689 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.475 and resistance at USD2.689.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.97% to trade at USD97.58.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for May delivery rose 0.35% to trade at USD56.59 a barrel while Heating oil for May delivery rose 0.90% to trade at USD1.9058 per gallon.
