On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for April delivery traded at USD2.958 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 2.23%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD2.968 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.811 and resistance at USD3.045.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.05% to trade at USD94.61.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for April delivery rose 1.05% to trade at USD49.97 a barrel while Heating oil for April delivery fell 0.24% to trade at USD1.8877 per gallon.
