On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for March delivery traded at USD2.771 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 3.38%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD2.771 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.615 and resistance at USD2.924.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 1.19% to trade at USD93.69.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for March delivery rose 5.20% to trade at USD52.15 a barrel while Heating oil for March delivery rose 4.03% to trade at USD1.8284 per gallon.
