On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for January delivery traded at USD3.690 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 1.96%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD3.724 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.605 and resistance at USD3.936.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.75% to trade at USD88.72.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for February delivery rose 3.86% to trade at USD58.43 a barrel while Heating oil for January delivery rose 4.11% to trade at USD2.0405 per gallon.
